Biography

Mariona is a last-year International Relations student from UAB. She started her MUN journey three years ago by joining UNANIMUN, her university association. Since then, she has participated in several conferences as a delegate and member of the secretariat, and now she is thrilled to end her MUN career by assuming the chair's role. As a matter of fact, last year she did an internship at the UNEP Regional Office of Latin America and the Caribbean, so she is incredibly happy to be presiding over this exact same committee as her last MUN experience. She cannot wait to meet all the delegates and help create a genuine environment to enjoy, learn, and negotiate.
